No Messi No Problem

Barcelona opened up their Quarterfinal 1st Leg at the San Mames with an impressive win over the Basque Side to gain 2 valueable away goals thanks in part to Munir and huge decisive errors from the Athletic Bilbao backline.

Goal scoring opened up early when Ivan Rakitic provided a crucial low cross that Blaugrana Starlet Munir slotted in.

Minutes later a huge mistake from the Bilbao backline led to a gift for Neymar who is on fire this season to put up Barca 2-0 in the away leg of the Copa Del Rey Clash.

Barcelona were without Lionel Messi and Luis Suarez at the front and the ambidexterous and super adaptable Sergi Roberto replaced an injured Alba at left back.

Bilbao gave the tie hope with a late goal from Aduriz to perhaps spark some life into the 2nd leg at the Camp Nou played later this month.
