Real Madrid Slip on the Road

Real Madrid dropped 2 crucial points when they traveled to the Estadio Nuevo to face a team in Vallaloid that was being threatened by relegation.

The first half saw a tight match with neither of the sides giving much room. Los blancos suffered a huge blow early on in the 8th minute mark when Ronaldo collided with a defender and was forced to be taken off the pitch. Madrid who were already missing the services of Bale through injury, never looked the same after he left the pitch. Early reports suggest a slight hamstring pull and everyone will be hoping it does not put the final of the champions league and the World Cup in doubt for the Portuguese superstar.

In the 2nd half we saw Ramos, who has been on a scoring tear, score his 4th goal in 5 games when he put in a beautiful curling free kick in. It was not meant to be though for the Blancos as Osorio put in a header catching the Madrid defensive line off guard and putting Real Madrid’s La Liga title chances out of their control. They will be now hoping that both Barcelona and Atletico Madrid drop points in the next game week although it seems that both teams are set on a collision course for the last match of the year between Atletico Madrid and Barcelona at the Camp Nou where they will leave it all on the pitch when they play for the title.
