Lionel Messi and Argentina will look to start their World Cup Campaign firing on all cylinders when they take on Bosnia-Herzegovina @ La Maracana.

Argentina will dream of reaching the ultimate prize and getting their 3rd World Cup Trophy in Brasil this summer. Argentina blew through Qualifiers and are coming into this World Cup with a favorable group and expectations severely high.

La Albiceleste have perhaps the deadliest forward core in the Tournament with the likes of Sergio Aguero, Gonzalo Higuain, Rodrigo Palacio, Ezequiel Lavezzi and Lionel Messi up front.

Key Player(s): Lionel Messi and Angel Di Maria.

Their current Manager Alejandro Sabella has employed Messi in a more natural role as a winger and it has completely changed his performances for his national side. I believe Messi will breakout of his goal scoring slump in the World Cup and will rack up the goals in the group stages. His burden of before of playing multiple roles perhaps hindered his ability to find the back of the net. The front line has developed chemistry in recent matches and Messi will have plenty of opportunities to score with due in part to the Midfield Maestro Angel Di Maria.

Di Maria arguably had his best season of his career helping land Real Madrid their 10th Champions League title and putting in several performances that outshone everyone. His more central role for his national side has been a god send with his astounding vision for creating chances and his understanding of the strengths and weaknesses of his Country’s side.

World Footie Predicts a comfortable 3-1 win for Argentina and perhaps more. Bosnia has not been convincing coming into the World Cup with losses at home against the United States showing that although it is their first ever World Cup as an Independant country(Former Yugoslavian), they might not have what it takes to make it out of the group stage. The world will be watching as Lionel Messi plays his first ever match at La Maracana with his dream of getting his final crown on his mind.
